Verizon finally issues a statement at 11:48am acknowledging the issue.
We are aware of an issue impacting service for some customers. Our engineers are engaged and we are working quickly to identify and solve the issue.

We have gotten reports that Verizon is “looking into the problem”, but that is all they have stated so far. Visible is still active, so it is unknown exactly what is happening with Verizon

Currently there are over 70,000 reports on Downdetector of Verizon Outages. Currently there has been no posts from Verizon about the outage

As of the writing of this Article it appears that Verizon is having a Nationwide outage of all wireless services. Currently there has been no update from Verizon as to the cause, but we will keep you updated.
